The colonel's report (Benjamin Church) on action in May indicates that they killed or captured everyone they could find - French and Indian. 'I do not think that anyone escaped,' the colonel wrote, and boasted, 'The daughter of St. Castin was among our prisoners.' (1704).

Madame de Chateauneuf qui fut faite prisonnière pat le colonel Benjamin Church, le 17 mai 1704. Le fils de ce dernier, Thomas Church, raconta que l'aînée du baron fut amenée à Boston avec ses enfants et que son époux était absent de Pentagoët parce qu'il avait rejoint son beau-père au Béarn. Elle fut ensuite libérée.
